weekday appetizer

i feel like sharing my day because it was interesting. to start off the day, i was almost late for my 8am class because my brother was hogging the bathroom. that pissed me off because i didnt get to wash my hair and derick hates it when i dont wash my hair for one whole day. but i did ran a quick errand for dericks mom after school. i had to pick up this thing from dessert plus and the old filipino cashier couldnt undertand me (i think shes deaf or maybe its just part of the aging process). i cleaned my room and it took me thirty minutes to vacuum all that junk stuck to the keyboard. then took notes for my nutrition test which i got a B on. after my 6-830pm class, i dropped by dericks pad, as usual, and watched tv, as usual.

i forgot to mention from the pervious blog, while i was making my payment at wal mart for the light bulbs, i got caught using this signature: B=D(X). the cashier told me to use the same signature as how it is on my credit card next time. the image above is the orginal receipt with my "signature". haha

i was busy with work and school the past week.

besides going to work and school i helped babysit dericks nephew kai. derick is the worst uncle ever because he would always mess with kai's hair.

another hello kitty item i purchased off of ebay for hella cheap. its a hello kitty contact lens case.

i had to work four days in a row from thursday till today. friday evening, i went to king's fish house at otay ranch with the gatdula fam bam. that place is awesome and its pricey because it is a seafood restaurant. i did come up on a stock honda civic muffler for $15 that derick and i picked up from the junkyard yesterday afternoon. i definitely want another trip to the junkyard (ps. im turning that ugly ass civic back to normal so i dont have to drive the sequoia anymore). for dinner, i took derick to hanaoka and just to let you know, i love that mutha fucking place. last thing, i bought $12 worth of girl scout cookies. derick begged me to buy three boxes after he saw the girl scout stand when we were going into wal mart to buy light bulbs. i now have three samoa cookie boxes in my glove compartment in my god damn sequoia and i dont even want to eat them because i am trying to lose some LBs.

red robin and ebay addiction numero dos

last night, derick took me to red robin at utc mall in la jolla for my birthday dinner. i loved the refillable fries but i am not a burger person but ordered a burger anyway.

another ebay purchase of mine came in the mail yesterday. hello kitty usb vacuum for my laptop, buck. it is not the best vacuum in the world but i don't mind because i only got it for $2 including shipping. hah!

before i forget one little thing, derick and i dropped by the pantig twins' birthday party. i thought it was funny how all of the kids at the party had their phones. when one of the twins, jeffrey, saw me and derick walking towards their house, he immediately took his phone out of his pocket and said, "Oh hey! derick and joanna, i'll call NEM and let her know you guys are here." the kid never calls his sister "nem". when nem finally picked up, jeffrey said, "hey jamie. derick and joanna are here." hhahaha kids.

here are their dude friends arm wrestling. i guess it's "the cool thing". check out the kid in the SD black hat. one, i didn't know they have a white friend. two, i didn't know they have a friend, who's a "bro" at age twelve. pretty early development, dont you think?

derick and i also dropped by one of our high school friend's bday thing and thats about it. in my opinion, i could have used yesterday's time more wisely. today's "study for my quiz day".

ebay addiction

not only did i purchase two tickets for the britney spears circus tour off of ebay, but i also purchased this awesome ass item here:

hello kitty usb optical mouse for my laptop fresh off of china and it lights up! not bad for $3 including shipping.

as a kid, i was showered with hello kitty items, well, sanrio shit in general. i remember my parents and my aunts would buy me all these hello kitty items such as kitchen appliances, bedding, bath, clothing, electronics, jewelry, etc. now, i only have a couple of them left like my jewelry case, earrings, boombox, and bedsheets? but i'm an adult now with a part time job. since i have an ebay account, i decided to take advantage of that account and start my hello kitty/sanrio collection from scratch. kinda.

twenty

today, i turned 2 0. i realized that my birthday is not as fun as how they used to be. back then, (19th bday and previous bdays) i liked my birthdays only because it was my day, the world revolved around me for a whole day, and the amount of years built up since i came out of my mother's vagina. i would also like to mention how my mom would go all out on my bday with cake, asian food, and at least two bday balloons. now that i am twenty, i did not get any balloons or cake (because i didnt ask for it) and i payed for my own 2 0 candles. my point is, fuck im getting old.

sushi cake, eggplant (i asked my mom to cook eggplant because derick hates eggplant), garlic chicken and low mein or chow mein (what's the difference?) from royal mandarin, macaroni salad, and fortune cookies haha. i didnt ask for much.

in my opinion, twenty years old means more responsibility to handle than at nineteen years old and wait three hundred and sixty five more days until i am able to legally purchase alcoholic drinks. however, it does not mean that i am going to drink heavily on fridays, saturdays, and maybe sundays.

one more thing. working in retail sucks ass. however, the fake chested, cheap ass on bras, relies on her husband, but owns louis vuitton sunglasses and prada bag, who i tried to help out yesterday about the best qualities of victoria's secret's bras made my day. she made me feel great about myself as a sales associate because i know (for sure) my shit about bras. and she doesn't. the end.
